Privacy summary
Kindyra OS is operated by KCF LLC (Kindness Community Foundation), 4110 San Joaquin Plaza, Newport Beach, CA 92660, United States. This page explains what this website collects and why.
Early-access list
When you join, we collect your email address, your referral code, who referred you (if anyone) and when you joined. We use it only to email you about Kindyra OS: a welcome email with your place in line and referral link, early-access news, and a short weekly “pressure tactic of the week”. It's stored with our hosting provider, Netlify, and the emails are sent through our email provider, Resend. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; you keep your place in line if you use it.
The Pressure Check
- The text you paste and any screenshot or PDF you upload are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate the analysis. PDFs are processed only to give you your result and are not stored. Audio you upload or record is sent to Google (Gemini) to be transcribed, then the transcript is analysed by Anthropic. Both are reached through our host, Netlify. We don't store any of it.
- We keep the generated analysis, which can include short quotes, privately so you can choose to share it. It's visible to others only if you press Share. The full text read from a screenshot or PDF, or heard in audio, is shown only to you and is never saved.
- Anthropic and Google process this data under their own terms: Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy policy, and Google's Gemini API terms.
- When a result shows where to report a likely scam, we use the country our host, Netlify, estimates from your connection to pick the right agencies. It's used only for that and isn't stored. If you choose a different country, the choice is remembered only in your browser. We count which reporting links are opened, in total, never who opened them.
- Don't paste passwords, one-time codes, card numbers or other sensitive personal details. The check doesn't need them.
Browser extension (coming soon)
- The Kindyra browser extension looks for pressure tactics on the pages you visit inside your browser. Page content isn't sent to us or anyone else, and what it finds stays in that tab.
- Your settings (the sites you've switched it off for, and whether outlines are on) are kept in your browser's extension storage. They aren't synced or sent to us.
- Text is sent only when you choose Check this with Kindyra and press Send: just the text shown to you, up to 3,000 characters. It's processed exactly like a Pressure Check on this website, by Anthropic, and not stored; the generated analysis is kept privately as described above. It counts as a guest check: your IP address is used only as a one-way, salted hash to count your free checks, within the same daily limits as the website.
- "Open on Kindyra's site" puts your text after the # in the page address, which browsers don't send to servers, and fills in the Pressure Check for you to review.
- The extension has no analytics, ads or affiliate links. On this website we count, in total, how many times text was handed over from the extension, never what it said or who sent it.
Telegram bot (coming soon)
We're preparing a Kindyra OS Pressure Check bot on Telegram. When it launches, messages, screenshots, PDFs and voice notes you send or forward to it are processed exactly like checks on this website, by the same providers, and are not stored. As on the website, only the generated analysis is kept privately, so you can choose to share it. Your Telegram user ID is kept only as a one-way, salted hash, to count your free checks: five a day, within the same site-wide daily limits as the website. Messages to the bot pass through Telegram's servers under Telegram's privacy policy. The bot answers private chats only.
ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants
- If you add Kindyra OS to an AI assistant as a connector, Kindyra OS receives only what the assistant sends to one of its tools: the message or offer to check, or the customer message and facts for a reply. It never sees the rest of your conversation. What it receives is processed exactly like a check or reply on this website, by Anthropic, and not stored.
- A Pressure Check keeps its analysis (never the message) so the result link it returns works. Anyone with that link can open the result page, which removes links, email addresses and phone numbers. Help Me Reply drafts and tactic explanations aren't kept.
- To count free uses we keep one-way, salted hashes of the anonymous user ID the assistant may send (ChatGPT sends one; we never receive your name or email) and of the connecting IP address, which is usually the assistant provider's, plus which assistant it came from (ChatGPT, Claude or other). Counts reset daily.
- The assistant itself handles your conversation under its own provider's terms and privacy policy.
Help Me Reply
- When you use Help Me Reply, the customer message, your context notes, any draft you paste and any screenshot or PDF you upload are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider (through our host, Netlify), to write or check the reply. Anthropic processes it under the terms linked above. Kindyra OS doesn't store any of it, and it isn't saved to your account history.
- We keep only aggregate counts to improve the tool, such as how many replies were written each day, which goals and tones were used, how often replies were copied and thumbs up or down. Each draft gets a random ID with no content attached, so refinements and feedback can be counted once.
- Customer messages can contain other people's personal details. Only paste what you're allowed to share under your organisation's rules, and remove card numbers, passwords, ID numbers and health details first.
Accounts
- Signing in is optional. You sign in with your email and a one-time code or link; there is no password. Accounts are run on Supabase, our database and sign-in provider, in the United States.
- Your account holds your email, display name, optional photo, language and settings, plus your impact (how many people ran a check from your shared results or joined with your invite, counted without identifying them).
- History is on by default and you can turn it off at any time. When it's on, each check is saved to your account with a short preview of what you checked (up to 500 characters) and the analysis. Only you can see it.
- If you share a result while signed in, you choose whether the card shows your display name and photo. Changing your name, turning this off or deleting your account removes it from your shared cards (link previews can take up to a day to refresh).
- On your account page you can download everything we hold about you, delete single checks or your whole history, and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, history, impact, photo, Trusted Circle, Spot the tactic record and early-access entry.
Trusted Circle
- Trusted Circle is optional. A signed-in member can invite up to five people with a single-use link that expires after seven days. We store only a one-way hash of the link, plus the optional name you give the invite (for example “Mum”), which only you see.
- Nobody joins without accepting, and accepting never turns on sharing. Each person decides separately whether to share heads-ups with the circle; it's off until they turn it on.
- When someone who shares heads-ups runs a check that comes back “likely scam” or “high pressure”, the other people in the circle see a heads-up on their account page: that person's display name and photo, the one-line summary, the verdict and the names of the tactics found. Never the text, screenshot, PDF or audio that was checked, the quotes, or the preview in their history.
- People in a circle see each other's display names and photos and whether each person shares heads-ups. They never see each other's email addresses, checks or history.
- If you turn on heads-up emails, we email the same summary to you through Resend, at most a few a day. Every email has a one-click link to turn them off.
- Anyone can mute a circle, change their choices or leave at any time, and the person who made the circle can remove people or close it. Leaving or being removed deletes the heads-ups between that person and the circle; closing a circle deletes all of it.
Spot the tactic
- When you answer in Spot the tactic, we add one to that message's counts (tried, and spotted or not) so we can show figures like “62% spotted this one”. To count each visitor once per message per day, we use a one-way, salted hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
- If you're signed in, your account also stores which messages you've practised, so you can see the count and earn the Sharp learner badge. Nothing else about your answers is kept. It's included in your data download and deleted with your account.
Before you pay
- When you use Before you pay, the details you enter (who you're paying, the UPI ID, link, website, phone number, amount and what it's for) and any screenshot are checked and then discarded. Kindyra OS doesn't store them, and they aren't saved to your account history.
- To explain the result, the details and screenshot are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider (through our host, Netlify). To show when a website was registered, we look up that web address, and only the address, in the public domain registration records (RDAP, through rdap.org and the registry that holds the record). If you're a member and press "Search the web", the website, UPI ID, phone number and name you entered are searched on the web by Anthropic's web search.
- In browsers that can, a UPI QR code in your screenshot is read on your device, not by us.
- We keep only aggregate daily counts, such as how many checks came back red, amber or green, and count checks per visitor with a one-way, salted hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
Fair-use limits
To keep the free check free, we count checks per visitor per day. We use a one-way, salted hash of your IP address for this, never the address itself.
What we don't do
No ads, no advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell your data. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
