Set-up guide for website admins

Add the free scam checker to your website in 5 minutes

One line of code puts the Kindyra OS Pressure Check on any page. Pick your options, copy the code and paste it into an HTML block. No account, no API key, no cost.

1. Build your code

<iframe src="https://kindos.kindyra.com/embed" title="Free scam check from Kindyra OS" loading="lazy" allow="clipboard-write" style="width:100%;max-width:760px;height:900px;border:0;border-radius:18px"></iframe>

Your name appears as "Offered by …" above the checker. Everything else, including the results, the safety advice and the disclaimers, stays the same for everyone.

2. Paste it into your site

WordPress

  1. Open the page in the block editor.

    Go to Pages, open the page (or add a new one called "Check a message") and click where the checker should go.

  2. Add a Custom HTML block.

    Click the + button, search for "Custom HTML" and paste the code. Use Preview to see it.

  3. Update the page.

    On WordPress.com, some plans remove iframes from pages. If the checker disappears after saving, you'll need a plan that allows custom code, or link to the checker instead.

Squarespace

  1. Edit the page and add a block.

    Click Edit, then an insert point (+), and choose Code.

  2. Paste the code.

    Keep the mode set to HTML and make sure "Display source" is off.

  3. Save and check it on your phone.

    Squarespace only runs iframes in Code blocks on some plans. If you see a placeholder instead of the checker, link to it with a Button block.

Plain HTML (any website)

  1. Open the page's HTML.

    In your site's template or page file, find where the checker should appear.

  2. Paste the code.

    It works in any container; it fills the width up to 760 pixels.

  3. Publish and test.

    Paste a sample message, such as one of the built-in examples, and run a check.

Using something else? Wix (Embed code), Google Sites (Embed) and most intranet tools accept the same code.

3. Optional: let the frame size itself

Results are longer than the empty checker. To make the frame grow and shrink with it instead of scrolling inside, add this script once on the same page. It only reads the height the checker sends; nothing else passes between the pages.

<script>
addEventListener("message", function (e) {
  if (e.origin !== "https://kindos.kindyra.com" || !e.data || e.data.kindyra !== "embed-height") return;
  document.querySelectorAll('iframe[src^="https://kindos.kindyra.com/embed"]').forEach(function (f) {
    if (f.contentWindow === e.source) f.style.height = e.data.height + "px";
  });
});
</script>

For IT teams: a sandboxed version

If your policy requires sandboxed frames, this version gives the checker only what it needs. Add frame-src https://kindos.kindyra.com to your Content Security Policy if you have one.

<iframe src="https://kindos.kindyra.com/embed?partner=springfield-library&name=Springfield%20Public%20Library" title="Free scam check from Kindyra OS" loading="lazy" allow="clipboard-write" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-forms allow-popups allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" style="width:100%;max-width:760px;height:900px;border:0;border-radius:18px"></iframe>

To let people record a voice note in the checker, add microphone to the allow attribute (allow="clipboard-write; microphone"). Without it, the Record button explains that the microphone is blocked and people can upload an audio file instead.

What the options do

OptionIn the codeWhat it does
Namename=Springfield%20Public%20LibraryShows "Offered by Springfield Public Library. They never see what you check." Letters, numbers, spaces and & . , ' ( ) - only, up to 60 characters.
Partner IDpartner=springfield-libraryCounts views and completed checks for your embed, as daily totals. a to z, 0 to 9 and dashes.
Languagelang=es or lang=hiSpanish or Hindi interface and results. English is the default.
Accentaccent=navyjade, teal, blue, navy, indigo, purple, forest, slate. Buttons, links and focus outlines only; verdict colours never change.
Compactcompact=1Hides the examples and the empty results panel until there's a result.

Anything we don't recognise is ignored, so a typo shows the standard checker rather than an error.

Questions

Where do I paste the code?

Wherever you want the checker to appear: a dedicated "Check a message" page, your fraud or security page, or your library's online resources page. Most website builders have an HTML, code or embed block for this.

The box is too tall or too short. What do I do?

Change the height in the code (for example height:700px), use compact mode, or add the auto-height script from this page so the frame grows and shrinks with the checker.

The checker doesn't appear after I save.

Some website builders and plans strip iframes from pages. Check that you used an HTML or code block, not a text block, and that your plan allows custom code. If it still doesn't show, link to the checker instead with a button or the Powered by Kindyra OS badge.

Do I need a partner ID?

No, but it lets us tell you how many people opened the checker on your site and how many checks they completed, as daily totals. It never identifies anyone. Pick something short and recognisable, like springfield-library.
